I am always on the road leading tourist groups in Central-Eastern Europe and the Balkan for twenty years. But my favorite city is still Budapest where I was born and raised.
I studied art and during my university years I traveled around Europe – living in Berlin, Rome, Marseille and Paris. Since I got married I live part of the time in Sarajevo too. We do not have children, so our chosen lifestyle is traveling. We are both part of the Rick Steves family as tour guides.
In 2011 I founded Sétaműhely – Budapest Walkshop. Yes, Sétaműhely has a strange Hungarian name – this part of our company organizes tours for locals. I strongly believe that the citizens of Budapest need to know much more about their city. Every week we have 10-20 tourist groups: elementary school children, families and company staff. Through this diversified way of working, my team and I have accumulated a much deeper knowledge of the city than most guides ever will.
