Guide / Journalist / Women's Rights

I graduated from the University of Szeged, where I specialized in Gender Studies – this is where my interest in herstory originates from. Along being a freelance journalist, teaching English teaching and being a women’s rights activist – I work as a tour guide in Budapest.

I lead general, as well as more specific Budapest sightseeing tours. My favorite part of this beautiful city is the fantastic Danube panorama – every time I cross one of the bridges, it makes me happy! I love our traditional and more contemporary cafés and of course the Great Market Hall. I love exploring the new restaurants and breakfast places and taking long walks after work.

As a result of hard work over many years I have collected an archive of the history of feminism, as well as Hungarian and foreign women of great accomplishment. This database is available for everyone on the feminist website  https://nokert.hu. Did you know that in Budapest animals enjoy higher status than women? – At least more statues were erected for them.
